My English Competence

I choose the Future composition because I work a lot to do it, and I am proud about the results :)
I think that if I want, and I have enough time I can write a good composition, like this.
On the other hand I hope that my teachers understand me, so I am not a teenager for linguistic matters such as English, Catalan or Spanish... In my opinion I am better in physics, mats... I hope that during next years, I will improve my level of English to get a good pronunciation and a huge vocabulary.
In this oral presentation, I am not nervous or shy, I think that I can pronounced better some words, or improve my grammar... But as I said on other post, I think that my oral presentations are good, I feel secure when I was doing it, and I think that this is a signal about a good preparation.

Hello, my name is Pep Clotas, I lives in Sant pere Pescador It's a small village near Castalló d'Empúries. I am 15 years old. I'm in first grade of Batxillerat.

When I have free time I love playing basketball, going windsurfing, seeing films at home, and playing computer games.
Last summer, I didn't work but I helped my family with the house work.

VOCABULARY

In the past, my vocabulary was very poor. I had to look up the words in the dictionary many times. I didn't even know how some words were spelled. I used to use the same words again and again such as big, beautiful, etc.


GRAMMAR

I knew the most simple tenses and I sometimes had to write complicated sentences and I couldn't do it because of my lack of grammar. I didn't know how to write subordinated sentences. I didn't know how to use connectors either. I didn't know about the Passive Voice which it's very popular and used in the English language.


CONTENT

My first compositions were very poor as well. They didn't have much important content. I didn't say much in them. Nowadays, I can see how much I have improved in English. I am able to express and write on a paper shit my thoughts, feelings and experiences.

My compositions are now richer in content than they used to be.


PRESENTATION

I am so glad to say that when I was in first grade of Batxillerat, I didn't even know what a blog was. Nowadays, I know it!!! and I am so happy to know how it works. I am able to change colors of the background, the type of letter, the layout, etc.

ORAL

Well on the one hand I think that my oral presentation are the same that in the past, even I also think that my last oral presentation was the worst … In this oral presentation I didn't vocalize, I was very nervous and I didn't know how pronounced all words.

On the other hand I proud of my firsts oral presentations, which I am so god... I think that oral presentations or oral test are my strong points; I am never shy or nervous... Always I am very extroverted, this characteristic help me to pass these tests or presentations, so now that I have the basics tools I only must practice to improve my oral english.

THE FUTURE

First of all and I am not kidding...I wish to have a good mark in the PAU!!!! Secondly, I hope I can use my English knowledges in the future, specially in oral English, so that I can explain my windsurfing lessons to my students in Sant Pere Pesador. I am so proud when I can talk in English and they understand me.

Music

First of all I would like to explain that I began to listen this radio when I was a child... Of course when I was five years old I didn't wan to listen this radio, I preferred songs of TV series like Dragon Ball. But always my grandfather forced me and my brother to listen this class of music when we was in his car, so since these time we have been listening it. My grandfather always is more teenager than I, he love rock and roll, all Mondays go out with his friends and he was a “playboy”...

I love it! When I was old I want to be like him, and have the same vitality and energy.

On the other hand today this radio play a different class of music than we listened in the past, nowadays this radio play the best house songs, which I always listen when I am doing my homework.

Although I love this music, I always listen others classes, depending of my day, if I had a stress journal I want to listen jazz, rock and roll when I fell exited and some heavy metal produced by my friend Sergi Bernat, when I feel misunderstood or anoyed with world.

Future

The news tell us how much science is improving day after day. I remember when I was a child, our televisions didn't have a remote control to change the channel. So, when I wanted to change it, I had to stand up of the sofa, walk towards the tv and press the channel button.

I think that we are living an important period of time of huge changes, in which the society members are changing their minds. In my opinion, there will be an important metamorphosis which will transform the world we live in. This change is happening nowadays although unfortunately we are on crisis. These years, teenagers, adults and old people are seeing disasters such as the Japan nuclear crisis or the earthquake in Lorca, Spain.

In the new I have chosen, we can see that although we aren't living the most wonderful actions of humanity, some of us want to continue investigating with Science. Maybe, these ressearches will help us to find out a solution for practical and simple problems like somebody did in the past when he or she invented the remote control.

Why Asia's nuclear tigers can't stop building reactors

... Nuclear power has long been considered a promising solution here. Although the global nuclear energy industry suffered a dark period after the catastrophes at Chernobyl in Ukraine and Three Mile Island in the U.S., it's staged a comeback even as environmental concerns mount.

Enter Japan's nuclear crisis. Suddenly, the growth prospects for nuclear energy in Asia have been top-sided. On Wednesday, China announced it would halt all new nuclear plant approvals -- about 40% of the planned projects in the world....

In this new we can see how much energy need our society, that in our times; when the nuclear powers are on a crisis period, we can't stop building reactors...
A few years ago a lot of people thought that nuclear energy was the final solution with our energetic problems, they think that this energy was clean and it have more advantages than drawback... Nowadays the same people who was in favor of this energy, these days are against that.

Humans are very impulsive, we only think and see what we have in the front of our eyes...

But some times in this planet appear supermans, like Albert Einstein, Friedrich Nietzsche, Newton, Plaó, and others whose ideas revolutionized our world. These class of human must be the spokesperson, to show us what is the correct way to continue here, to preserve our world.

In conclusion I think that the most effective solution is think more and spoke less than today, to find the way which doesn't destroy us... But this isn't possible on a country where most of the people prefer to spoke about football than science...

The Gull

This animal is the king of skis and I love it. I think that gulls are the best animal in the world because he is strong, fast, agile and free. I like to be this animal and fly around the world to see all oceans of these planet. This probably is my more private wish, I think that the person who can stay all places in the moment that he like, this is the powerful person... Like a god.

For another hand I like to see the birds in the air, when they are flying. This moment is magic, they stay in the air but they don't move their wings, they only staying in the air..

Probably is these personal wish the reason why I love sports like Kitesurf o Mountain-bike, because in these sports I can feel like gull, although that I only take these feelings by little seconds...

“It's said that gull are a signal of good fortune, because in the past when seaworthy saw these animals they known that their boat are near to the coast.” My grandfather told me when I was only a child. :)

TV Addicted?

All of us want to see TV series or movies on the internet.... Always we use cinetube, but this isn't the best page to do this. One of my teachers, show me a new web were you can see all movies in the original version, moreover this page hasn't video limitation, so you can see all movie at first time! Well finally I would like to talk abut my favorites cartoons. I like manga as One Pice and other series as The penguins of Madagascar. The last carton I found for casualty. Was one Sunday, in the last night I have been in a party so I got up very late, at 11 o'clock. When I was eating my breakfast I turn on the TV and I see this.

This carton is based of the film Madagascar, the protagonist of the cartoon are different than the film. The penguins are very funny, in the cartoon there are four penguins. They are very specially, they are the secret soldiers.
